Ace comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to come up with the new season of his popular comedy chat show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and several exciting promos from it are out on social media. Actors Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh will be the first guests of the new season. In a new promo, the Atrangi Re star is seen at his witty best as he blames the comedian for the failure of his movies. Akshay jokingly said Kapil jinxes his money, and films and as a result, his films are now tanking at the box office.

The channel Sony TV shared this promo on its Instagram handle and wrote, “10th September raat 9:30 baje se #TheKapilSharmaShow mein dekhiye Akshay ke kuch mazedaar khulaase!.” In the video, while welcoming Akshay, Kapil says, “Paji, har birthday pe aap ek saal chhote kaise ho jaate ho.” To this, the actor jokingly reply, “Ye aadmi itni nazar lagata hai sab cheezo pe… meri filmo pe, paiso pe nazar daal di…ab filmein nahi chal rahi koi.” The promo ended with Archana Puran Singh laughing loudly. Going by this small teaser, it is clear that the first episode of TKSS will be high on a dose of entertainment and laughter. Meanwhile, Akshay’s latest film Cuttputlli opened to mixed reviews on 2nd September 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. This was his fourth release of this year after Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj and Raksha Bandhan. All of these films have failed to win the hearts of audience and tanked at the box office. 

Talking about The Kapil Sharma Show, the show will go on air on 10 September 2022 at its original time slot 9:30 pm every Saturday and Sunday. The new season will feature Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh, and a few new actors.
